11/01/24 SOME DOCTRINAL DISTINCTIVES

11/01/24 SOME DOCTRINAL DISTINCTIVES

I know, and I am honored and humbled, that some of y'all read my posts. I have a few questions at the end of this post.
I know some of you hold the same doctrinal distinctives I teach.
I know some of you are Christians but probably find some of my doctrines strange, such as...

God gives believers clean hands and a pure heart, if they ask God.
Christians have power to resist all temptations and live a holy life.
Christians do not take up arms against anyone, ever.
The Church and the State are two separate entities, serving God in ways that are distinct from one another.
Christians are to obey the State until it contradicts the rule of God in the believer's life, then they must obey God, without taking up carnal arms against the wicked State.
The State (not the church or believers) is given the right and the responsibility to protect the righteous (the innocent, the law abiding), and the right and responsibility to punish the wicked (the law breakers, the criminals).
There are other Biblical doctrines we follow, which are not observed by contemporary, western Christianity.
The local church has the responsibility to govern itself and to discipline the people in the local church, even to the extreme point of shunning, and ex-communication, for the purpose of reconciling the rebellious, obstinate participant. Discipline is not for punishment.
Men are to lead their families and men are to lead local churches and ministries.

Let me ask you...
Do you have questions concerning my beliefs and my teaching?
Do you research the Bible concerning my teaching, which might appear to be peculiar to you, or do you simply reject it without asking or seeking the Scriptural view?
Do you ever ask your pastor or other Christians about things I say in my posts?
