11/01/24 LEADERS NEED TO BE GOOD FOLLOWERS
When pastors allow people to work or lead in ares of ministry, for which they are not Biblically qualified, it tells you how lowly he considers the call and work of God in the church. This gives an insight into the depth, wisdom and the seriousness of the pastor.
Remember, the Holy Spirit gave the qualifications for ministry, and He directed Paul to tell church leaders to guard and guide the flock.
I believe pastors should be at least as adept at preaching, teaching and leading their churches as the locals of the community are in their own fields of endeavor.
This requires submission, motivation, focus, sacrifice, perfect love, holy heart and life, vision, humility. These are traits that come with years of preparation and service.
