10/07/24l IT'S A WAR ZONE, NOT AN AMUSEMENT PARK

The Church is made of people, not brick and mortar, not lumber and nails, not glass and metal.

There is power in ballots and in bullets, but the power of the Bible is seldom unleashed in the face of social, political, economic, academic oppression.

Christians (at least for the present) can wield the ballot.
Christians (Biblically) cannot use the bullet.
Seldom do people (who call themselves Christian) unsheathe the Sword of the Spirit.

Men (as a race, not as a gender), even professing Christians, trust in horses and chariots and lean on the arm of flesh, rather than boldly march forward into battle under the Blood stained banner of Christ.

There is a danger in following the Prince of Peace into war. There is a cost for saying, "Here am I Lord, send me."

Folks would rather celebrate in fun concerts than rise up against the prince of darkness or charge the gates of hell.

Young people are being taught to "praise and worship" (so-called) without dying to self and walking in the footsteps of Jesus.

When a generation comes along that is primarily a spectator congregation (at best), then the probability that the following generation will even attend church is not likely. A generation can be lost, and we won't even smell the brimstone.
