09/27/24 GIVE GOD THE GLORY

09/27/24 GIVE GOD THE GLORY

The following is not a brag list of personal goodness. I am a Christian by the work and grace of God. But because I am a Christian, I deliberately choose not to commit sin (willfully disobey the known law of God), thanks to the grace, power and leading of God's Holy Spirit. Though He delivers me from committing sin, I still love folks who are held captive by sin. I know God can and will save the lost from their sins if they will believe on Christ as Lord and Savior.

I don't do drugs (including tobacco and alcohol), but I have Christian love and compassion for people who do drugs.
I don't commit adultery, but I have Christian love and compassion for people who are adulterers.
I don't swear, or use profanity, or use crude or lewd language, but I have Christian love and compassion for people who are vile in their conversations.
I don't watch, or look at, or listen to obscene, unclean, lewd entertainment, but I have Christian love and compassion for people who do.
I don't practice or fantasize homosexuality or pedophilia, but I have Christian love and compassion for people who do.
I don't kill children, but I have Christian love and compassion for mothers and doctors who do.
I don't steal from, or lie to, or oppress people, but I have Christian love and compassion for those who do.

But since I am a Christian, I am opposed to sin, and as a Christian with the opportunity to vote, I choose to vote against platforms and parties and politicians that make disobedience to God, the law of the land.

It is one thing to have Christian love and compassion for those who commit sin, it is another thing to accept or promote wicked systems and agendas as the law of the land, or to vote for the people who will impose wickedness, wokeness, division, hatred, prejudice, perversion, lawlessness as the rule of law.

It is not Christian to do the sins I listed. But I know people who claim to be Christian who vote for people who not only sin personally, but people who are committed to leading and forcing our country into sin, slavery and suffering.

If you claim to be a Christian, do not endorse or enable anti-Christian government power over the people of the land. In fact, it would be normal and right for a Christian to renounce and denounce affiliation with anti-Christian political parties. Stand for Christ and His word, do not stand for race or party.

We can't vote the Millennium into existence, but we must not vote anti-Biblical policies into power.

There will come a time when we will have no choices. Now is the time to stand with Christ, on His word, by His power.
