04/09/24 GOD'S WORKS AND NATURE ALIGN
We may not (actually we cannot) explain or understand the infinite God (Whose judgments and ways are past finding out), but we can know some things about His character and nature and works, which are invisible, eternal and Divine. We know about Him because He has revealed Himself through Scripture and in the Person of His Son. God is faithful to His revelation and He is consistent with His nature.
We know what justice (righteousness and fairness) is because God has explained it and demonstrated it. God cannot be unlike the God of His own revelation.
We know what love is because God is love.
We know what mercy is because God is merciful.
We know what fair is because God is fair.
We know what truth is because God is true.
God's actions will always agree with His Divine nature and infallible word. God is not two faced or inconsistent. God does not act contrary to His revealed standards
We can rightly say that a supposed action of God is unjust if it does not align with the Biblical revelation of God's justice.
It is not blasphemy to call a false Christ a deceiver.
It is not blasphemy to reject the leading of an evil spirit who is impersonating the Holy Spirit.
We do not worship a god of man's making or of man's standards.
The mysteries that relate to God do not conflict with the traits we see in the Bible.
It is not unjust for God to do what God wants to do because God is just, but it is not the true God who does that which is contrary to His nature and His word.
God's commands are not a taunt. All men are enabled, through faith in Christ, to obey God.
God's call is not a tease. God's call is a legitimate invitation to all who will believe.
God's salvation is not a trick. God's witness to our spirit that we are children of God is not a pretense.
Though all men are corrupted by Adam's sin, no man is lost forever because of Adam's sin. All men are lost because all men have sinned against God, but God loves all sinners and has provided salvation for all men through the One Man, Jesus Christ, so that whosoever believes on Him shall be saved.
