(Jesus Paid It [Gave His] All)
This video is about the message of the song, not about the singer.
It is a great song with a great message.
I changed the word, "paid," to the word, "gave." Jesus did die for our salvation, as a sacrifice, not as an equitable debt payment. He purchased, procured our salvation with His blood, making atonement to deliver us from sin and judgment.
There is a subtle but erroneous meaning attached to the Doctrinal interpretation referred to as "penal substitution." Penal substitution is related to the belief that Jesus did not die for everyone and the belief that we are preemptively forgiven of future sins as well as past sins.
I hope the message of this song ministers to you.
"Jesus gave His all: all to Him I owe."
