04/03/24 NOT NAME IT CLAIM IT

THIS IS NOT ABOUT PROSPERITY RELIGION

Most of us go through moments of poor physical health. If it is more than normal discomfort we seek some kind of relief, through treatment, doctors, medication, therapy. If the ailment is acute, we may seek specialized and aggressive medical intervention.

With this in mind, I find it amazing that so many people who have been saved at some point, or attend Christ following churches, go about SPIRITUALLY malnourished, disease ridden, wounded, paralyzed, disabled, or as walking corpses.

Not only do they not seek spiritual deliverance, they resist and reject SPIRITUAL health and wealth when it is available.

Not always, but many times our NATURAL ailments and troubles are specifically tied to our SPIRITUAL condition, and we are therefore impacted by our failure to follow Jesus fully.

2 Peter 1:2-4
2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
