03/28/24 LOCAL TREASURES

From time to time I think about friends I have made through the years. Living in Williston, I often think about Christian friends who live nearby. While I was a pastor in Beaufort, we would occasionally visit with our friends at the Free Grace Wesleyan Church on Harkers Island. I always enjoyed and appreciated Pastor Clint Nelson's preaching and the testimonies of the folks in the congregation. I use to be, "out and about," more often than recently, and I would see some of those dear folks in Morehead or Beaufort.

I had the privilege to preach in their church on a few occasions, which gave our congregation an opportunity to fellowship with that congregation. Eventually we moved Down East, where we now carry out our ministries. Though we don't see each other as much as we did, I miss them and cherish them as friends and believers. We continue to pray for them personally and as a local congregation.
