Resisting temptation and obeying God is impossible, until we trust Christ and surrender to Him.

The saving work of Christ on the cross and the saving work of Christ in our hearts and lives are both miraculous works of Divine power. 

He died and rose from the dead, without condition, but He only delivers us from sin's penalty, power and pollution if we believe and follow Him, and He will hold us accountable for our choice. 

Matthew 16:24-27
24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

From time to time I post about the danger of people who are false accusers, slanderous, libelous, divisive, and especially if they are blaspheming God's faithful messengers, which is also an attack on God's word and God Himself.

My warning is mostly toward those who listen to such gossip. Form your decisions about people based on what you know personally. Ask the accused about rumors you have heard. Not only should we not accept such accusations, we should not repeat them to other people. 

Lives, families, ministries are ruined by vengeful malcontents. Vengeful people tear loving family members away from one another and often poison the minds of gullible or intimidated young people against family members who are faithful and loving messengers of God's word. Don't be part of Satan's agenda of social and spiritual attacks.

Romans 13 REQUIRES EVERYONE to be subject to God's authority.

When someone takes your money by force, they are thieves. Romans 13 is not a license for "Government" to steal.

God orders Government to punish the law breakers and protect the law abiding. This is the basis of human Government. When a "Government" refuses to do this, it is mob anarchy.

Politicians have always fleeced the people, but now we are being enslaved and slaughtered in order to use our wealth to buy votes of illegals who have no concept of American values, and no respect for our heritage. Our safety, health, income, homes, families, Biblical culture, hygiene, and national future is being stolen and violated. Such an agenda ends in chaos, not redemption.

The open border mentality is overthrowing our country and displacing lawful citizenry. This is actual insurrection.

Don't count on America being saved. You better realize that your only hope is not in this world but in Christ. Our battle is eternal, not temporal; our weapons are spiritual, not carnal.
God is our King, Lawmaker, and Judge, only He will save us (Isaiah 33:22).

Does your faith relationship with Jesus (in other words, your salvation) enable you to resist all temptation, and enable you to joyfully keep all of His commands? If not, you are not saved.

Betrayal is what happens when the "government" extorts money from the citizens in order to buy the votes of illegals. (I put quotation marks around "government" because such corruption is not legitimate government.)

American's have betrayed God by taking His blessings and serving the false god's of pleasure, greed, blasphemy. 

Biblical government (which is the plan of God) protects the law abiding and punishes the criminal. Anarchy is not only when individuals disobey government, it is when so-called government disobeys God. 

Romans 13:1-7
1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. 

The State is not given a blank check from God. The State (those who hold positions of authority), though it is not the kingdom of God, is answerable for its decisions and actions, just as all men (saved and unsaved) are answerable to God for their words, thoughts and deeds.

"Life is too short. Years ago we were all like family. Everyone looked out for each other. We ate together and drank together and were worried about each other. We need to get back to this. We need to take care of each other instead of breaking each other down."

Let me add my response.
I agree with your post referring to how it use to be and how we need to recover the social and cultural treasures of the past. Though this is not a "copy and paste," I wanted to express my agreement. Some of the old paths were the best paths. In fact, this is what I was hoping to see happen with my Net House. A place for friends and neighbors to meet and enjoy each other and the fellowship of Jesus.
